Former NFL kicker Pat McAfee delivered a strong message on Saturday morning after the murder of Charlie Kirk earlier this week.
McAfee, 38, wearing a patriotic theme jacket, delivered the message on Campus in Tennessee prior to his big match against No. 6 Georgia.
“Getting a chance to be around this beautiful city in the last 24 hours has made me realize that it’s great to be Tennessee -Free,” McAfee said to open ESPN’s “College Gameday.”

“It’s not just a great day to be Tennessee -Freath, it’s also a fantastic day to live in the biggest country on Earth, the United States,” said McAfee, triggering “USA” sang from a violent audience.
“And all week we’ve seen and heard maybe much more than we ever should about what sets us apart, what makes us different and our different opinions. But on this beautiful campus on this glorious Saturday you will see 102,000 plus in the eighth largest stadium in the world from different economic backgrounds, political background, religious background, you name it all that comes together for one thing: And that is to kick Georgia.”

McAfee said Saturday is about celebrating what makes this country big.
“A football room is the biggest place on earth, its stadium is too. Today we celebrate what makes this country big, today we celebrate the biggest sport on earth: football,” McAfee said.

Receive Davis, one of the hosts of “College Gameday,” said football “pulls everyone together”, causing McAfee to say it is trying.
“At least it tries to be, and I think that’s what we need to remember, especially on weeks like this. It’s nice to be alive, it’s nice to be a football fan, and Saturday always delivers in college football season,” McAfee said.
