Patrick Mahomes’ Mother Poster Tribute After Charlie Kirk Murder

Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes, made a social media post to support Charlie Kirk after his assault Wednesday.

Quarterback’s mother shared one of Kirk’s recent posts on X, with a faithful message. “Rest in heaven,” she wrote.

Kirk’s original post, which Randi Mahomes shared, was from September 6 and read, “Jesus defeated death so you can live.”

Randi Mahomes is a well -known Christian, conservative and even approved President Donald Trump ahead of the November election.

Randi Mahomes is one of many characters in sports to offer compassion in the wake of Kirk’s assault. Other NFL numbers to speak to support Kirk included Tim Tebow, Jaxson Dart and Julian Edelman.

Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was hit by a single ball around 10 p.m. 12.20 on Campus at Utah Valley University in Orem Wednesday. The 31-year-old was surrounded by mostly university students when his event was underway.

Police arrested a suspect early Friday morning-identified by sources such as Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old resident of Utah.

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said at a press conference Friday “that a family member of Tyler Robinson reached out to a family friend who contacted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with information that Robinson had confessed to them or suggested that he had committed the incident.”
