Donald Trump is expected to be the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl Sunday to see Patrick Mahomes, and Kansas City Chiefs is trying to become the first team in the NFL story to win a third equal Super Bowl.
Mahomes gave his thoughts about Trump, who participated in the game to journalists on Wednesday.
“It’s always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president,” Mahomes said. “A person who is in the top position in our country.”

Earlier Wednesday, when Trump was asked who he expected to win the Super Bowl, the president did not give a final answer, but referred to Mahomes’ success.
“I don’t want to say, but there’s a certain quarterback that seems to be a pretty good winner,” Trump said when asked which team he is rooting for.

While Trump did not identify Mahomes by name, he has expressed love and respect for quarterback and his wife Brittany in recent months. The second quarterback, playing in the game, Eagles star Jalen Hurts, has not yet won a Super Bowl.
Mahomes recognized Trump probably talked about him and gave his thoughts of the cryptic praise of the president.
“It’s cool to hear that he has seen me play football and respect the game I play,” Mahomes told journalists on Wednesday.

Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes, approved Trump just days before the November 5 in a video for outkick.
Other Chiefs figures have also acknowledged that the historical influence of Trump’s presence will bring to the game.
Gracie Hunt, daughter of Chiefs Team -Owner Clark Hunt, talked to Riley Gaines at Outkick’s “Gaines for girls” Podcast and responded to Trump’s remarks.
“It’s pretty cool. It’s pretty amazing,” she told Gaines. “Sometimes I just look at the one I talk to and I like ‘Yes, it just wasn’t on my bingo card from 2025.’ But wow, it’s just absolutely incredible.

“I think you know, no matter who the president is, I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life you know. And having the president there you know it’s the best country in The world.
The tight end said this despite dating taylor swift, a long -time Democrat who supported Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
Mahomes refused to approve a recent election candidate when journalists pressed him on September 11, but he urged people to vote for the best interest of their families.
“I don’t want my place and my platform to be used to support a candidate or do anything, no matter what,” Patrick said at the time. “I think my place is to inform people to be registered to vote. It is to inform people to do their own research and then make the best decision for them and their family.”

Brittany encouraged controversy and support in August when it was revealed that she liked an instagram -post of Trump that put his political agenda from 2024. She turned to setbacks several times and seemed to double her support for Trump with additional social media. Trump even thanked her for the support in a post about truth social.
After Swift approved Harris on September 10, Trump said in an interview about “Fox & Friends” the next morning he liked Brittany “much better” than Swift.
Patrick Mahomes praised his wife’s influence on September 11 when asked about Trump’s comments about her.
“I think you see Brittany doing a lot in society,” Mahomes told journalists. “At the end of the day it is about me and my family and how we treat other people.”
After Chiefs defeated Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game 26th January, Trump sent a congratulatory post to the team with Sandle Social.
After Eagles won their only Super Bowl in February 2018, they jumped to visit Trump in the White House.
