A one-on-one trading card that was sold to Big Bucks early Friday morning after an auction for it went almost three hours longer than planned.
Paul Skene’s 1/1 Rookie debut patch autograph card, drawn by an 11-year-old in the Los Angeles area on Christmas morning, sold for $ 1.1 million on the Fanatics Collect March Premier Auction.
SKENES, who was named NL Rookie of the Year in 2024 and ended in third place in the NL CY Young Award vote, will only earn $ 875,000 this year.

The map was shown in 2024 Topps Chrome update sets, and it received a fierce offer from Skene ‘Pittsburgh Pirates.

All fanatics collect revenue from the card will be donated to La Fire Relief Funds, where the rest goes to the family that will put a good part of it in their children’s college funds.
