Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed the national cricket team’s official jersey for the upcoming ICC men’s Champions Trophy 2025 during the opening ceremony for newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium Friday.
The set was revealed by Pakistan’s 15-member teams for the eight-team tournament during the star-studded ceremony.
The board also released a minute -long promo to reveal Jersey, starring in whiteball captain Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah Afridi with Women’s Cricketers Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana.
For the UVERSED, hosts and defense champions Pakistan will start their Champions Trophy 2025 campaign at the newly renewed National Bank Stadium in Karachi under the Curtain-Raiser against New Zealand on February 19.
The national team then travels to Dubai, where they lock horns with Arch-Rival India on February 23rd.
The green shirts play their last group-fixture against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on February 27.
The eight-team tournament, which consists of 15 matches, runs from February 19 to March 9 across three venues-Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi-I Pakistan and Dubai.
The eight teams are divided into two groups. Group A includes Pakistan, India, New Zealand and Bangladesh, while Group B consists of Endghanistan, South Africa, England and Australia.
Pakistan will host a total of 10 matches, while four matches, including all three of India’s group phase matches and the first semi-final, will be played in Dubai.
The final of the tournament is scheduled to be played in Lahore, but if India qualifies, it will also be held in Dubai.
Furthermore, a spare day has also been set aside for the final clash as a precautionary measure to combat any weather -related obstacle.
