- The trailer to Peacemaker Season 2 section 8 has been released
- It teases a surreal, exciting and potentially sad ending to the HBO Max -Show
- Some great fan theories have come online about how it affects the DC universe
There is only one episode left Peacemaker Season 2 before the show departs our screens once again – or forever, if recent comments from James Gunn about Peacemaker‘s future must be believed.
Before this season’s final, entitled ‘The Full Nelson’, does Landfall, HBO Max, who has our appetite for what is expected to be a surreal, exciting and potentially emotional eighth episode. In fact, a 30-second teaser teaser has been released to next week’s chapter and shocking none, it has already been created a number of fan theories.
Look at
Viewers not only wonder how DC Universe (DCU) TV series’ Last Season Possibly end. Gunn has already suggested that the show’s latest final will create events that come in other DCU chapter 1 projects, so its importance to Gunn and Peter Safran’s beginning film franchise is not lost on Peacemaker‘s audience.
Nevertheless, three special theories dominate online water cooler discussions about this season’s upcoming final. Let’s look at them and see if one or more has any substance for them.
1. Argus locks the door up to DC Multiverse – and Batman Part II
One thing is already plenty of aware of what will happen in ‘The Full Nelson’: Rick Flag SR and Argus’ wanted to get their hands on Chris Smith’s interdimensional unit for a very specific reason.
With Smith finally handed over the said device to them at the end of Peacemaker Season 2 Section 7 Argus does not waste time putting it into good (read: bad) use.
As the above teaser reveals, 11th Street Kids – Minus Smith, who has been locked in for his supposed crimes – and various Argus agents will be sent to explore other realities within DC multi -multi -multi -multi -term. We see Emilia Harcourt and Company exploring a colorful, candy sugarcane world hiding … something. Another door that leads to the gigantic skull-spider-infected Hellscape dimension we first saw in Peacemaker Season 2’s official trailer is also displayed.
We already know that Smith’s device gives access to Quantum Unfolding Chamber (QUC) and according to the titular character 99 other universes. But given the flag of SR’s reservations about interdimensional journey and parallel worlds – after all, he constantly says he will not have a repeat of what happened in Superman -Why is he hell at using the QUC device to explore other realities?
The answer is simple. As Harcourt tells John Economos later in the teaser, Argus wants to find “resources [and] New reason for overpopulation “. It seems that Argus wants to locate other habitable dimensions, extract their resources for DCU’s land, and maybe even put some of its planet’s human population back into these other realities.
It causes several problems, one of which will come to his own section later.
Not only does it make DCU’s soil susceptible to all kinds of dangerous foreign life forms, it also gives the opportunity for a revenge Keith/Captain triumph to come after Chris one last time. Of course, it will only be possible if Argus opens the door to Earth-2. However, in view of the tragic events of Peacemaker Season 2 section 7, and the fact that a rage-filled Keith was shown to be alive before this chapter ended, I don’t think we’ve seen the last of him this season.
Argus’ exploration of Multiversen may not be all bad news. It is possible that one of QUC’s 99 doors will lead to Matt Reeves’ bat verse, alias the one where Robert Pattinson plays Bruce Wayne and his vigilant Alter-ego Batman.
If that is the case it is too much of a stretch to believe that Peacemaker‘s season 2 final could include a crowd-pleasant como from Batman‘s head star? What if it gives us the slightest glimpse of something that can happen in Batman Part IItoo (learn more about that movie in my guide on Batman Part II)? Admittedly, the latter is a pipe dream, but the former would certainly help cement the DC-Andreworlds initiative, such as all non-DCU projects, such as Reeves’ Bat-Vers (Would Cheat-Verse also fall into this umbrella period?) Collective known as.
2nd Peacemaker season 2 section 8 will set up tomorrow’s man – and reveal his villain
Peacemaker have already given us some clues about what Gunn’s Superman Successor, alias MARTRA manwill bring. In fact, season 2 sections 6s large como was the perfect setup to MARTRA manBut what this season finale goes ahead and officially confirm who its villain will be?
Gunn has previously dropped some tips on the identity of this flick’s primary antagonist. In mid -September, he suggested that it will be someone so powerful that Archer Feet Clark Kent/Superman and Lex Luthor have to work together to defeat them. Almost two weeks later Gunn shared a picture of MARTRA man‘s finished script that seemed to include another tease about its main villain.
With flag SR and ARGUS, exploring alternative dimensions in ‘The Full Nelson’, some fans believe that one of these realities has the key to introducing MARTRA man‘s primary villain – that being, if you still believe fans, Brainiac.
It’s not such a foreign theory when you read people’s reasoning for this hypothesis. Redditors including Cig_SG_Throwaway and Lastofdays94, Plus Resetera user ZeBesian-X, make convincing arguments about this theory, and I wouldn’t put it past Gunn to reward Peacemaker Fans to see this incredibly important DCU project by revealing Brainiac will be his Superman Follow -up is Big Bath.
We don’t have much time to wait to see if this particular theory is true. Meanwhile, you need to get lowdown on everything we know so far MARTRA man.
3. Vigilante-1 and Vigilante-2 swapped universes in season 2 section 7
Given the theories I have discussed in the past, it may sound strange to say that this is the one I am incredibly skeptical of. Nevertheless, it is worth discussing because it is such a compelling fan theory.
In the midst of the chaos of this season’s seventh post, entitled ‘Like a Keith in the Night’, it is completely possible that the Earth-1 version of Adrian Chase/Vigilante (alias the one that exists in DCU) traded places with his Earth-2 variant. This means that DCU’s vigilance remained at the back of Earth-2 to allow his friends to escape, with Earth-2 vigilance that took its place in DCU.
It seems that fans cannot agree on whether this is the case. At Reddit, users Siddhartha404, Imaginary_penalty_97 and Kiki_and_horst have all suspected that this switcheroo took place.
Nor are they the only ones thinking it. Over to resetera is Madabat, Ursine and Yap also lose convinced that this happened.
Others are not that sure. Redditor Calligrapherborn9924, Plus Resetera members Totth and Layell do not think they, for example. Traded places.
So what should we believe? According to Resetera user something that is something, this episodes subtitles reveal that the Earth-2 version of Vigilante is the one that remained. Unless it seems to run this particular debate.
But what are you doing from the above theories? And have you seen anyone else that sounds like they could be proved correctly in one of the next episodes of Best HBO Max Shows’ second season? Tell me that in the comments.
