Peaky blinders returning as a movie. The show is one of Britain’s longest running – and most beloved – period crime dramas.
A dark and exciting look at walkland crime in Birmingham, set just after World War II, it was based on the real -life blinding street gang that terrorized the city of West Midlands, and robbed ‘n’ racketing, released brutal violence against other and continuous illegal game extensions.

Peaky Blinders The Movie: Release Date -Forget
It has been a looooong old beat, waiting for this movie to hit the screen, and even now Netflix will not be drawn on when the actual release date will be, except to say, “Soon.”
That kind of sounds like what a parent would say when they want to stop asking for something. We will soon assume that “in 2025”, so we will tell you, then “soon” as better approximations are released on the date.

Well, of course, it wouldn’t be peak -loaded blinders without Cillian Murphy, who again returns as Tommy Shelby.
But the great interest is about new faces joining the gang, namely Barry Keoghan and Rebecca Ferguson and Tim Roth, whose roles have not yet been announced.

Like the world of Shelby and co. Skip from the BBC over to Netflix for the feature for the feature length, streamer seems to suggest that there could be more after the immortal man, which is very appropriate, given the film.
Netflix has invoiced the film as “an epic continuation” of the highest blinders, while Knight has called it “an explosive chapter,” which suggests there could be more to follow.
Talking with Esquire By 2022, Knight suggested that someone planned to “pop out” in the movie, which could then take the story elsewhere, in another movie or even format: “The movie, I know exactly what it is about. And I know what two stories, it will tell. How the story will unfold me, I don’t know. What will happen after what I want, I want to depend on the movie. Who it will go to be.
And he confirmed that the film will not be the end of PB in an interview with Times radio In December 2024. He said, “Well, it’s interesting that you have to ask that question because the movie comes out and it won’t be the end. It won’t be the end, let me say that way.
