Tennis legend Martina Navratilova came in defense of “Harry Potter” writer JK Rowling on Saturday when the author received criticism from actor Pedro Pascal in a recent conversation.
Rowling and Pascal are clashes in the past about transgender people, including after Rowling celebrated the United Kingdom’s Supreme Court’s decision on the legal definition of a woman.

“Bullies make me f —— sick,” told Pascal to Vanity Fair. “It’s a situation that deserves the biggest elegance so something can actually happen.”
Rowling dismissed Pascal in a social media post on Friday, and Navratilova added it.
“Another Johnny comes recently and tells women to STFU,” Navratilova wrote.
Navratilova is a lifelong Democrat, but has never wandered on his push to prevent biological men from competing against girls and women in sports.

She has made it clear that she is not a supporter of President Donald Trump and a quick scan of her social media post would emphasize it. However, she has complained of the Democrats’ inaction over the question of transient athletes participating in the sports of women and girls.
When Trump signed an executive order to ban biological men from women’s and girls’ sports, she fired a tough message to the Democratic Party.
“I hate that the Democrats totally failed women and girls on this very clear question of only women’s sports for women,” she wrote in a post on X.
She also expressed her frustration in January when the House of Representatives adopted the protection of women and girls in the Sports Act. Only two Democrats voted with Republicans on the bill.

“More dems have to step up here. I know many who agree but are afraid of talking up because of re -election. I say to do the right thing. Wax a spine,” she wrote on X.
