Pedro Pascal reflects on the real connection to Joel in ‘The Last of Us’

Pedro Pascal, known for his role as Joel in The last of ushas revealed how he sees a striking resemblance between himself and his character.

Talking at the press conference with the role crew The last of us Season 2 prior to his premiere admitted to 49-year-old Hollywood star, who plays Joel-a protective father figure for Bella Ramsey’s Ellie- that he can relate to the protective side of his character.

Pascal said, “I’m pretty hard protective. I protect the people that I love. And I think it’s probably the most important component I relate to.”

“In a way that is not very healthy. And then I feel kind of their pain, I assume, so I suspect I was in an unhealthy mindset,” he admitted.

Furthermore, Pascal seemed excited about the hit show’s second installment, which is based on the video game The last of usNoticed that the success of the show comes from the hard work put into it.

The Gladiator 2 Alum said, “I think there is something that is really exciting about basically giving everyone another season of a show that everyone loved and that everyone has worked so hard and has put so much in.”
