Pedro Pascal writes emotional ode to girlfriend Sarah Paulson

Sarah Paulson received tributes from friends and colleagues at an honors event

Sarah Paulson was recently awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and all of her best friends made sure to honor her big milestone, including Pedro Pascal.

Pascal and the actress, 50, have known each other since 1993, when they were both 18 and on a journey of self-discovery in New York City.

Though Last of us star, 50, was unable to attend the event himself, he wrote down a speech and it was read out by Amanda Peet along with the other tributes.

“That’s what [Pedro] wrote: Lacking this makes it too difficult to find words. I can thank you both for my ridiculous fortune. Two birds grabbing sticks I never knew was for me and someone in your heart,” Peet read.

She continued: “To Sarah, I just want to say that there is no me without you. Without you, I wouldn’t believe in the moon or the sun in the sky. You are the opening in the way. You are the decorated forest, and most importantly, you are my friend and I am yours forever.”

The Game of Thrones actor ended his note with a heartwarming statement, writing, “I’m so f—— proud of you. More, more, I love you more. Period.”

The best friends have often shared insights about meeting each other at such a young age and going through all their formative experiences together, in various interviews.

In a 2014 interview with Interview magazine, Pascal said, “I met you, Sarah Paulson, in September 1993, my first month in New York City. I was really lucky because my first friend at NYU lived in Brooklyn, Kristen, and went to high school with you, so your posse of guys kind of adopted me.”
