- Peloton has renewed its portfolio and redesign almost all its range of connected fitness kit with a swivel screen
- Bicycle+, tread+ and row+ pack now improved Sonos speakers
- The area ‘Plus’ also offers a movement tracking camera for real -time feedback
Peloton has renewed almost all of its series of connected fitness equipment, with what it calls a new cross -training series consisting of the Peloton bike, Bike+, Peloton Tread, Tread+and Peloton Row+. In addition to new speakers and a built-in Peloton Guide camera for the Premium ‘Plus’ line with machines, all of the above will have a swivel screen along with AI-driven personal recommendations and real-time feedback, which the company hopes will support the members” total well-being ‘.
Peloton knows that a growing number of its users benefit from more than just spin and run classes, with a staggering two million members who are actively engaged in strength training programs from the 4th quarter last year.
However, it was only a selected number of the more expensive plus products that traditionally contained a swivel screen that made it easier for the home’s gymnastics enthusiasts to perform strength training movements as part of their Peloton training while still seeing the instructor’s requests.
Peloton CEO Peter Stern claims that the company “doubles the value” of its hardware by making a swivel screen standard across New Cross Training Series that include five products in the US and Canada, or only three in England.
Further updates to the products include improved front-facing speakers on the standard bike, an upgraded seat and faster, more reliable Wi-Fi connection.
Bike+ takes things ahead with a larger 23.8-inch swivel screen and speakers developed by Sonos.
There is also a fan for keeping users cool and a new movement tracking camera that can provide real-time form correction, reporing and weight suggestions thanks to the company’s new AI-activated fitness coaching.
This is based on Peloton’s experimental guide product, which was an early add-on camera aimed at offering similar feedback in real time and AI activated coaching. Now these smarts are built into the plus line.
Peloton has also utilized the power of voice assistants with the ability to control key functionality with vocal PROMPS. “OK Peloton” can confirm a choice, while commands that “make the instructor louder” can do just that.
As you could expect, Peloton prices have gradually creeped up since a hike at the end of last year, with a standard Peloton bike that now costs $ 1,659 / £ 1,599 / AU $ 2,699, the more advanced bicycle+ commanding $ 2,695 / £ 2,299 / AU 2,299 / AU $ 3.89, and Pread in that that one who ends $ 3.29 $ 3,2952955550 £ 3,499 / AU $ 4,999.
Peloton also offers the tread+, which costs $ 6,695 and row+ ($ 3,495) in North America and Canada, which has not been a runaway success for the brand.
The monthly price to access the full package of on-demand training and training tools has also spiked everywhere.
In the US and Canada, the monthly membership of Pelotonl, one of the best fitness apps, has come up for the first time in three years and jumped by $ 5 to $ 49.99. Costs jump from £ 39 per Month in the UK to £ 45 for membership of all-access. App+ membership also rises from £ 24 to £ 28.99 from this month. In AU, the costs also increase, although we do not yet have these figures.

Peloton’s new IQ feature comes as a default for any paid member, but it offers most for those with the built-n movement-tracking camera, as it can deliver real-time feedback, rep counting and advice on weight and progressive overload.
What’s more that will AI-powered fitness coach analyze previous training history, class services and vacuum-up data from third-party wearables from Garmin Connect, Fitbit and Apple Health to provide tailor-made insights and training recommendations.
Users then get a personal training plan that can help them achieve preset goals, such as losing weight, getting stronger or living longer. The system is described as taking the guesswork out of long -term fitness planning.
Performance -stimates and personalized recommendations will also suggest that individual classes are based on unique member data, or rank classes based on an expected output interval that provides insight as “harder than your usual” before a session is selected, for example.
The AI-activated system works in a similar way as recommendation algorithms found on Netflix or Spotify, where Peloton “learns” more about the user over time and can come up with trained suggestions based on a number of parameters.
Peloton has also joined forces with Hyrox to deliver a number of classes that support training for the popular and fast -growing sport, while the recent purchase of Breathwrk adds new breathing exercises that can reduce stress, improve sleep and increase focus.
Members who are willing to swallow the price increase will note that these will appear in the app this month, while older Peloton products will also benefit from the new features via a software update.
