Penn State Nittany Lions suffered a humiliating loss of 42-37 in the hands of Winless UCLA Bruins on Saturday.
The defeat marked the other straight loss for the apparently rolling Nittany Lions. Penn State came briefly against Oregon last week and the second loss of the season inhibited their chances of getting College Football Playoff with a hard road ahead.

Penn State Head coach James Franklin was investigated from fans after the loss.
UCLA used all the tricks it had in its bag to throw Penn State out of the guard early. Bruins Quarterback Nico Iamaleeava led a touchdown drive to open the game. Then Bruins got a surprise on site, which eventually led to a field goal.

It was only harder from there.
“The opening sequence of the game for a touchdown, then the surprise of the place. We talked all week that they could take significant risks all games,” Franklin said. “It was two significant drives and acting. From that time we fought. We made lots of mistakes that we usually do not commit and had sanctions at critical times. Things we do not do and have not done for a very long time.”
Penn State goes up to Northwestern next week-Wildcats is also 3-2 this season. The team then hits the way for Iowa and No. 1 Ohio State. The hell strip ends with Indiana # 8 entering Happy Valley.

Even with the hard journey in the future, Quarterback Drew Allar said he still thought the team could do college -football play.
