Quetta:
GDP chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal has said that people, due to growing disillusionment with parliament, are now being forced to resort to picking up weapons.
He expressed these views as he approached the Kech Bar Association’s event, held in the Barrum, where he was the main guest, talking about the topic of “Pakistan’s legal system and human rights, which is laid down in the constitution”.
He said people have been “completely disappointed and disillusioned over parliament” where there is no hope of reaching their rightful demands. “Sitting in a parliament where questions and free expressions are not allowed is nothing but a waste of time.”
