The New York Mets was hot on Tuesday night against Atlanta braves – so much so that the crew at Citi Field used all his pyro for home dawns.

Mets slammed six homemakers of Braves-Pitchers in their 13-5 win. Spencer Strider and Austin Cox were labeled for three dingers each. Pete Alonso and Francisco Alvarez had two home runs each, with Brandon Nimmo and Brett Baty contributed the rest.

After the sixth home drive at night, Mets had to give fans the hard news – “No more pyro.”

“Due to too many Met’s home runs, we unfortunately ran out of fireworks for the night,” read a message on Citi Field Videar. “We’re sorry for the inconvenience.”

Alonsos two home runs pushed him to the top of the organization’s all-time home drive. He has 28 homes of the year and 254 all the time. He surpassed Darryl Strawberry with Bragden.

“As a child, you don’t really think it’s within the possibility of being a franchise -home driver,” Alonso said after the match. “You just want to come to the big leagues and give it your best. And the dream is really kind of this opaque and unknown thing. You just want to get there and compete, play for a World Series, play winning baseball.

“I mean, it’s a wild dream to be honest, and it’s really special.”

Mets shared a message from Strawberry on their social media platforms.

“You’ve worked hard, you’ve got up in the pressure from New York City and you’ve played well,” Strawberry said. “It’s well deserved. You are a homework player. Again, congratulations and keep having great success. All the best, friend.”
