Pete Davidson is eager to welcome his first child with Elsie Hewitt.
A well -placed source told PEOPLE The magazine that the 31-year-old comedian and actor and his girlfriend, Hewitt, are “so excited to become parents.”
The insider revealed, “Pete and Elsie are doing well, and they are both so excited to become parents.”
During the source, “Pete has prepared in every way he can, from helping to get the kindergarten ready to make sure Elsie feels supported every step on the road, and it is clear how much he looks forward to fatherhood.”
They continued to note that Saturday Night Live Star “Really embraces” this upcoming phase of his life with Hewitt, which is a model, actress and influencer of business.
“He talks about how this is the most meaningful chapter of his life yet, and he really embraces it,” the insider shared.
Hewitt is also wholeheartedly “to love this pregnancy stage” and the fact that it has had a positive impact on her relationship with Davidson.
“Elsie glowing and loves this phase of pregnancy, and it brought the two even closer. They enjoy the little moments, from selecting baby clothes to planning for what life will look like when the baby arrives,” the source remarked.
“They can’t wait to welcome their child and start this next chapter together as a family,” the source claimed.
For those who did not realize, Davidson and Hewitt made their relationship Instagram official in March 2025 and debuted their first red carpet in May 2025.
It is relevant to mention that the 29-year-old mother-to-be went to his Instagram on Wednesday, July 16 and announced his pregnancy by placing a carousel with pictures, including a snap of the sonogram.
