MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred’s decision to remove Pete Rose and other baseball legends from the permanently unjustified list was the lecture on the start of the season.
Rose’s Baseball Hall of Fame support eligibility took a step forward, and for the former Boston Red Sox Star Pitcher Derek Lowe it was time. He told Pakinomist Digital in a recent interview that he did not “necessarily agree” that Rose’s status would be determined after his passing.

“Yes, I think it’s time. I think many people rightly, wrongfully, thought he would eventually come in, but it wasn’t until he passed, which I didn’t necessarily agree with,” Lowe said. “You just look at a guy who had the most hits of the time – yes, we understand games, but yes, you know, unfortunately he’s gone and here we are. He probably comes in.
“Long story short, I think he will come in at some point. When is it that I don’t know. But I think many people would like to see him in the Hall of Fame with certainty.”
It is a similar mood that Baltimore Orioles stars Gunnar Henderson.

He told Pakinomist Digital last month he was “happy to see Rose get out of the forbidden list, but understood the opposition.
Rose died last September at the age of 83 of hypertensive and atherosclerotic heart -vessel disease. He admitted to playing in 2004 after years of claiming his innocence.
Rose was a three-time world series master and an MVP. He is the all-time HITS leader with 4,256 and a career-batting average of 0.303.
