Rory McIlroy has a blunt message to people who are sorry for a potential due to tour-life golf fusion: “Get over it.”
McIlroy, 35, said those who rejected exorbitant offers from life to remain loyal to the PGA Tour should welcome a reunited sport.
“I think everyone just has to get over it, and we all have to say, ‘OK, this is the starting point and we move on.’ We do not look behind us, we do not look at the past, ”McIlroy said last week. But reunion, how we all get back together and move on, it’s the best for everyone.

“If people are asshurt, or have their feelings hurt because guys went or whatever, as who is interested? Let’s get on together and let’s just try to get this thing going again and doing what’s best for the game. ”
McIlroy was once one of the most, if not most, free -speaking critics of life among PGA Tour players.
McIlroy said that life ultimately benefits from everyone as the puns of winning due to events have increased. McIlroy cited Genesis Invitational as an example when the scrotum Ludvig Aberg took home was $ 4 million and the total purse was $ 20 million.
“It would never have happened if life had not come around,” McIlroy said.

Adam Scott, a member of the PGA Tour Board, understands if people would be upset over the reunion.
“I wouldn’t be surprised – or I wouldn’t judge anyone, the members – whose reunion happened and they were not happy with how it happened,” Scott said.
“I wouldn’t hold it against anyone if there were negative feelings attached to it, the thought of players coming back.”

Scott was part of a group that met with President Donald Trump about a potential reunion when PGA Commissioner Jay Monahan asked for Trump to get involved.
“It’s not been an easy thing to solve, otherwise we would have solved it, I think,” Monahan said.
For every time it is resolved, McIlroy’s message rings loudly and clearly to those who are upset.
