Phil Mickelson Roses Elon Musk in X Post

As Elon Musk continues to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a legendary golfer stands in his corner.

The Agency has continued to eradicate waste, fraud, and corruption in the federal government ever since President Donald Trump joined in January.

Phil Mickelson posted on Social Media on Tuesday that he feels the American people should be grateful for Musk’s work.

“It’s incredibly friendly and generous by Elon Musk to help America become financially responsible. We owe him all a huge gratitude,” he published. “Nicola Tesla was not appreciated while he was alive despite his many contributions to humanity. I hope Elon is shown the appreciation he deserves in his lifetime.”

Mickelson wrote the message while quoting a post in which Musk was quoted on FOX Business and said DODE savings “At this time exceed $ 4 billion per day.”

Earlier Tuesday, DOGE announced that it has disabled more than 200,000 credit cards linked to more than a dozen federal agencies following a revision showing they were unused or unnecessary.

Last month, Musk spoke at Trump’s first cabinet meeting and said he is looking to find $ 1 trillion in savings through DOGE to help cut the national debt, which is about $ 36.5 trillion.

Musk was aiming for what he described as $ 2 trillion in deficit, saying that America “simply can’t maintain” the debt amount. He told Fox Business that savings could achieve $ 1 trillion “unless we have stopped.”

Mickelson joined Liv Golf in 2022, which has been financially supported by the Saudis; He rejected from the PGA Tour just over a year after he became the oldest big winner in history when he won the PGA championship at Kiawah Island in May 2021.
