- New Philips Hue -Products are leaked
- There are 4 new lights plus a node and a doorbell
- It is not clear when they may be launched
We expect some new Philips Hue Smart Lights in the not too distant future, and it seems that the Signify-owned brand has become so excited about the upcoming products that it leaks them early on its own site.
Pages showing the new devices were only live cards, but before they were drawn, they were stained by Hueblog (via Android Authority). Apparently, four new models are coming, plus a Hue Bridge update and a new video derh clock.
We have two new smart lights in the Festivia String Lights line: Downward-facing lights intended for permanent outdoor installation and a Garland-style strip for decoration of squares with. It is probably that both will be available in different lengths, with the usual wealth of colors and the choice of brightness for the bulbs themselves.
In addition, it seems that Philips Hue is updating its more basic light strip product with a gradient function for the outdoor model and increased brightness. Finally, there is an updated version of the A19/E27 bulb that brings a wider spectrum of colors and ultra-low damping while using 40 percent less energy.
Even more devices
On top of the bulbs, it seems that Philips Hue will also launch a Hue Bridge Pro: According to the leaked description, it will be faster, offer support to a larger number of devices and add some fresh new features too (possibly involving AI). It also promises to transform your smart lights into motion sensors.
Then there is a cable associated Video Descents that appear to be an extension of the Hue Secure series with home security cameras. The doorbell is listed as a 2K resolution, which usually means 1440p -an upgrade of the 1080p resolution offered by the current cameras. It is a device that has previously been rumored.
What we do not get here is any details of pricing or accessibility, though it seems that the wired video derring clock may be launched later than the other kitbits: It is listed as “coming soon” rather than “available now” on the now-drawn web page.
One last time of this leak is that Sonos Voice Control seems to come to Philips Hue Systems, so you will be able to use voice commands issued to your Sonos speakers to check the basics of your Smart Light network.
