Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker warned Eagles fans about their post-Super Bowl Lix festivities after their last left at least one person dead and more wounded in separate events.
Eagles are set to take on Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night in a new match for the Super Bowl LVII. Philadelphia officials have made it clear that they were ready to reveal to take the streets after the game. Parker warned fans not to climb the city’s light bars.

“Don’t climb light bars or anything else,” she said on Friday via Fox 29 Philadelphia. “Please, Philadelphia, I ask you as your mayor, don’t climb light bars or anything else.”
She added the climbing to any kind of structure or fixture could “lead to tragedy.”
Tyler Sabapathy, an 18-year-old Temple University student athlete, died after falling off the bar and landing on his head while celebrating the Eagles’ NFC Championship victory, Philadelphia Police told FOX 29 Philadelphia. The teenager was taken to the hospital and was in very critical condition before he eventually died.

At least three other people were injured when a driver drove into a multitude of pedestrians after the playoffs at Lincoln Financial Field.
“The Philadelphia Police Department is on an all-hand-on-tire approach to ensure everyone’s safety,” said Police Commissioner Kevin J. Bethel Friday. “Our officers will be in full strength all over the city, ready to keep the festivities going smooth.”
