Phoenix Suns is sued by a current employee for alleged discrimination, harassment and retaliation.
Gene Traylor, the organization’s director of security, security and risk management, claims in his trial that the team closed him after a presentation regarding potential security concerns about the Sun and Mercury in WNBA.
One case that the trial included was when two ordinary officers were able to bring a knife into a game on December 17, 2023 in a test run by the Phoenix Police Department’s Homeland Defense Bureau. Almost a year later, in a similar test, two handguns and a knife went through safety.

The case also claims that Suns failed a revision of the NBA.
Suns said the claims are “misleading and categorically fake.”
“Guest security is our highest priority,” a Suns spokesman said in a statement to ESPN. “We are continuing to meet and exceed the security expectations. We regularly perform security tests, which are standard throughout the industry. We have used these proactive measures to ensure that we operate at the highest level of security and readiness.”
Traylor also showed concern for a part-time employee who apparently stole $ 40,000 worth of merchandise, an “dissatisfied topic” that interrupted a team photo-up and a political provocateur approaching Brittney laughs.

It is the fourth lawsuit against the team in the last seven months that everyone claims discrimination.
Attorney Sheree Wright represents all the defendants but Sun’s sentenced notes about her.
“The Supreme Court in Arizona has twice disciplined lawyer Sheree Wright for committing several violations of the rules of professional behavior, and she is currently serving a two-year trial with the state bar in Arizona,” spokeswoman said. “This time Ms. Wright and her client have made absurd accusations of mismatch around the security department of Phoenix Suns …
“Mrs. Wright continues to recruit earlier and now current employees and manipulate them to file creditless litigation.”
In its own statement, Wright said that “These are not vague accusations. They are specific, detailed and supported by witnesses, documentation and affirmative evidence.”
