Islamabad:
On Tuesday, Pia canceled six turn-return flights between Islamabad and northern regions, which resulted in serious disadvantage for passengers.
National Flag Carrier’s canceled aircraft included Islamabad for Gilgit routes PK-601, PK-605 and PK-603, while return flights PK-602 and PK-604 from Gilgit to Islamabad were also grounded. In addition, Flight PK-451 from Islamabad to Skardu was canceled.
The unexpected cancellations left passengers stranded and struggle to arrange alternative travel arrangements.
Meanwhile, a private airline served its scheduled services to Skardu, where Flight PA-251 gave from Islamabad and the return flight PA-252 successfully end his journey.
