KARACHI:
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has begun preparations for Ramazan by issuing tenders for procurement of dates and juice to be served to passengers for iftar on domestic and international flights during the holy month.
During the tender, 130,000 packets of dates, each weighing between 30 and 35 grams, will be procured for distribution on flights during Ramazan. The airline has also issued a separate offer for the supply of 200 ml juice packs, where millions of units are to be purchased for iftar service.
Interested suppliers have been asked to submit their applications to PIA’s supply chain department by January 14.
