PIA to resume direct Lahore-London flights

The total number of weekly flights to the UK will rise to seven, with plans for further expansion

LAHORE:

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced that it will resume direct flights to London from March 29 from Islamabad and March 30 from Lahore.

Initially, PIA will operate four weekly flights, three from Islamabad and one from Lahore – using Boeing 777 aircraft.

The PIA spokesman said flights would land at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 4, adding that the airline has a more than 70-year history on the London route, which was among its earliest international destinations.

The resumption will bring the total number of weekly flights to the UK to seven, with plans for further expansion.
