He collaborated with Gary Sinise Foundation (GSF) for a strike campaign. For every strike that Skenes throws this season, he promised to donate $ 100 to the organization.

“I am very excited to collaborate again with Gary Sinise Foundation and help our veterans and first respondents during the 2025 season,” he said in a news message. “I have tremendous respect and admiration for the men and women who sacrifice so much to protect and serve our society. GSF provides a fantastic platform to honor and support those who have done so much to me. I look forward to another year of supporting this amazing cause.”

Actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise started her foundation in 2011 after spending the previous decade volunteering with other organizations. In the last decade, the fund has helped to expand the service effort, which delivers the military, the veteran and the first responding community with further fundraising and outreach.

“A big thank you and much gratitude to Paul for his amazing support for GSF and for this amazing offer and invitation to beat the practice for the top donor. Incredible! We get great things done at Gary Sinise Foundation and we appreciate your support to Paul and what he does to help us,” Sinise said in a news message.

“Just go easy on my kids this season you, Paul,” he added.

The Foundation also invited MLB fans to join the Skene in his efforts to gather $ 100,000.

SKENES will personally thank the person who gives the biggest donation between launch and Pirates’ home opener on April 4th. The person will be able to make a meeting-and-greeting and get tickets for the team’s games against New York Yankees.
