Tighten up, comedy fans! Hit Apple TV+ Show Platonic Season 2 is almost here and drops its first two episodes on August 6th. starring in Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne, as best friends will and Sylvia, we can expect a 10-episode drive to take us all the way to early October. It’s a lot of laughs waiting for us for the next few months and the new trailer is no exception.
The show follows the couple as they struggle with Midlife obstacles, whether at work or at weddings – they are partners in crises. As Apple TV+ puts it, “The duo is trying their best to be each other’s rock – but sometimes breaking things.” We also have some new stars participating in the schedule this time, with Luke Macfarlane, Carla Gallo Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett and Milo Manheim adding all their weight in gold to new episodes.
We all know that Apple TV+ is one of the best streaming services around for original content, and Platonic Season 2 Trailer proves that the study can increase efforts for what we first saw in 2023. All I need is a pair of news Solas and a Hawaii shirt, and I’m ready to see new episodes of the hit comedy when they fall.
Platonic Season 2 is almost here and Apple TV +’s first trailer is already looking wild
Look at
Get it not twisted – will and sylvia is still very besties as far as Platonic Season 2 trailer is concerned. However, it also suggests that their friendship could hit the rocks before than we might like. “Will and I always get screwed when he is in a couple,” Sylvia tells husband Charlie (Luke Macfarlane) in the clip. “I won’t lose him again. If I had to replace him now, it would take 25 years for me and this new friend to catch up on where Will and I are, and then I am practically dead, and who doesn’t care?”
But before we even have to worry about getting this far, there is a whole series of chaos coming our way. A lubricated up McFarlane is seen bending his muscles in a white tank top while trying to get will in shape (honestly, this is probably for a reason to set up by himself), Sylvia throws some forms on a party dance floor in a way reminiscent of Byrne’s Bridesmaids Days and an epic golcreen piece turned into a buggy escape mission that had a bleeding eye. The just over two -minute trailer has enough turns that it will give you whiplash.
With such an enjoyable balance between flat comedy and relatability, everyone must be excited to have new episodes to binge. Rogan and Byrne’s chemistry is unparalleled, the writing is rounded and self-insured (although we were recently reminded of this by Rogen’s second TV show, The study) And as an ensemble are the performances from the hook. We deserve more than a laugh this summer (for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere at least), so thank you, Will and Sylvia for us to get to our rescue.
