- PlayStation has announced its next state of game presentation
- It happens on June 4 at 1 p.m. 14.00
- The show will be about 40 minutes focusing on upcoming PS5 games
It is a PlayStation surprise as a new state of game presentation has been announced until tomorrow (June 4).
Advertised via a post on PlayStation’s official X / Twitter account, this state of Play presentation is expected to be about 40 minutes long, according to the accompanying PlayStation blog message.
This state of game presentation will focus on “News and updates about good games that come to PS5.” No information has been given beyond that, though it is reasonable to expect potential updates about upcoming games as sucker punch’s Ghost of Yōtei and Housemarques Saros.
The State of Play presentation is released on PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. The show goes live on June 4 at. 14.00. It will also be uploaded to PlayStation’s channels after the fact that if you are unable to capture the show live.
Sony may cut it well with this state of play message, but it’s really not much of a surprise. This is arguably the biggest week in games, with the Nintendo Switch 2 launch on June 5, followed by Summer Game Fest and Xbox Games Showcase on June 6th.
We see lots of new game messages in the last half of the week, so it’s not too surprising that PlayStation seems to come in front of the basket here.
