PM announces 100,000 free laptops for students

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the distribution of 100,000 free laptops among talented students across the country on a profit, Tuesday at an international youth event in Islamabad.

PM said the distribution of these laptops will be across all four provinces, the Federal Capital Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, and will be on a profit without any nepotism.

He said these laptops will be apart from the laptops scheme through interest -based loans.

With reference to Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, the Prime Minister said Pakistan’s victory on May 10 against a numerically large and vaingloric enemy has lit a new force throughout the nation.

The premiere called on the youth to build on the spirit of this performance and work hard to win laurels to the country.

Earlier, President’s Prime Minister The Youth Program Rana Mashhood said the government’s merit -based programs for young people have enabled the talented and deserved children to succeed in their lives.

He mentioned various landmark projects that continue to help thousands of students complete their education, such as Pakistan Education Endowment Scheme, Pakistan Daanish Authority and the Prime Minister’s portable scheme.

When he spoke on the occasion, Prime Minister of Religious Affairs and Interreligious Harmony Kesoo Mal Khael Das said that minority society in Pakistan always has and will continue to play their role for the country’s progress and development.
