PM approves the plan to give young industrial -relevant skills

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a significant project aimed at providing training programs to equip young people with the necessary skills in the market and industries.

The project will ensure that education is in line with the needs of local industries and the demand for qualified labor in global markets.

The Prime Minister will personally oversee the implementation of the project and has also decided to prescribe monthly review meetings.

He instructed continuous communication with local industries and international workforce agencies to be maintained to ensure that education meets market needs. In addition, a comprehensive database is created to track the required skills in local industries.

The Prime Minister declared that Pakistan’s talented youth is the country’s most valuable asset, and through professional education they will be empowered and gain employment. Efforts are made to provide Pakistani Youth International Standard Training with the aim of promoting the export of qualified labor.

Previously, a review meeting on National Youth Employment Plan, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, outlined the plan to provide educational and employment opportunities for youth for the next four years.

The meeting revealed that 2.4 million to 6 million young people would receive professional education annually and help them secure jobs. The program will focus on the skills required by the market and the international demand for the workforce.

The prime minister was also informed that Digital Youth Hub is in his last stages and will be launched this month.

The Prime Minister praised the efforts of the relevant ministries and institutions involved in this initiative.

Federal Ministers Ahad Khan Cheema, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, President of Prime Minister’s youth program Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan, President of the Higher Education Commission DR Mukhmet Ahmad and other senior officials attended the meeting.
