Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday confirmed Pakistan’s obligation to strengthen his youth through transformative initiatives and emphasized their role as the nation’s future.
He turned to the initial session at the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance (Caya) meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said, “The government is fully obliged to strengthen youth through initiatives such as our flagship ‘Youth Program’, which has benefited from millions over Pakistan. “
PM emphasized that over 60% of the Commonwealth population includes young people. “Through a powerful workout and equipment these hands with modern technology and techniques, they must become good hands,” he said, emphasizing the importance of preparing young people to create a peaceful, progressive and prosperous future.
He paid tribute to the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance as an important platform to promote partnerships in the midst of global challenges. “As a founding member, Pakistan attaches great importance to Commonwealth and its institutions,” he noted.
PM Shehbaz emphasized Pakistan’s youth bump and emphasized the need to provide platforms and opportunities that allow young people to actively contribute to national building and decision making.
Highlighting previous results quoted the Prime Minister programs such as “Punjab Education Endowment Fund”, which provided scholarships for high performance to pursue quality education. He also mentioned the expansion of Daanish Schools to Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan and remote areas of Azad Kashmir.
During the youth program, nearly 600,000 laptops were distributed to high -performance students.
In his closing remarks, the Prime Minister urged youth to “dream courageously, act with courage, work relentlessly, and have faith in the spirit of conviction.” He described them as pioneers who would lock the possibilities of Pakistan’s future prosperity.
During the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz also managed oath to the newly elected national youth council and distributed prices at high performers from different areas.
