PM condemns Jaffar Express Terrorist Attack, promises peace will prevail

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the terrorist attack on Jaffar Express in Balochistan and claimed that such feige acts will not weaken Pakistan’s commitment to peace.

In a statement sent on social media platform X, the Prime Minister expressed shock and grief over the attack that demanded life for innocent passengers. He shared that he had spoken to Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, who briefed him on the latest developments regarding the attack.

“The whole nation is deeply shocked by this eerie act and sadness of the loss of innocent life,” he said. “I offer my heartfelt compassions to the martyrs and ask that Allah gives them the highest rows in Jannah. I also want a quick improvement to the wounded.”

The prime minister continued to announce that dozens of the terrorists responsible for the attack have been “sent to hell” as security forces continue to operate to eliminate the threat.

A day earlier, Jaffar Express was with over 400 passengers on board nine bogies on the way from Quetta to Peshawar when it was attacked in the Dhadar area Bolan Pass on Tuesday.

“All 33 terrorists have been sent to hell …. Four Frontier Corps staff embraced martyrdom during the approval operation,” confirmed Director-General of Public Relations (ISPR), Director General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Wednesday.
