PM Inaugurated Fast-Tracked Review Project

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday inaugurated the newly built Jinnah Square Murree Road Downfall, a major infrastructure project completed in a record time of only 35 days. The Prime Minister praised it as a nationally significant initiative that will ensure smooth and uninterrupted connection to the popular tourist destination Murree.

When he spoke at the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz praised the dedicated efforts of Interior Minister Senator Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Capital Development Authority (CDA) President Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Islamabad -Inspector General for Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and their teams to Completed the project with remarkable Efficiency.

“The end of this downfall of just over a month marks a milestone in our national infrastructure development,” the prime minister said. “It complements our wider vision of a signal -free corridor from Islamabad International Airport to Murree, facilitates the traffic load and improves travel time for commuters.”

He instructed the administration of the federal capital and CDA to continue to work with increased efficiency and devotion to make Islamabad more beautiful and well organized.

The downfall spans approx. 479 meters, three traffic lanes have designed to facilitate smoother traffic flow. The project is part of an almost nine kilometer connection corridor, which according to the Prime Minister will not only benefit the residents of Islamabad and Rawal Pind, but also travelers across the country heading for Murree.

When he reflected on the timeline of the project, the prime minister noted that he had only 35 days ago laid the foundation for the downfall, which is now completed, including associated road work and landscape architecture. He praised the project’s contractor, consultants and all involved officials and called on the Minister of the Interior to maintain this momentum for future development initiatives.

In a separate address during the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz congratulated the nation with the armed forces in Pakistan’s strategic and brave answers that, in his words, gave a “crushing defeat” to Indian forces. “This performance reflects the nation’s unity and the blessings of Almighty Allah,” he noted.

Formerly Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi informed the Prime Minister about the project’s technical details and praised the collective efforts of CDA, the Islamabad police and the Naval. He also revealed that design work for the Shaheen Chowk division is underway with plans for a new Safari Park and a chair lift project.

The inauguration participated by federal ministers Hanif Abbasi and Dr. Tariq Fazl Chaudhary, Ministers of the State of Talal Chaudhary and Talha Burki and other parliamentarians.
