Rawalpindi:
Twelve soldiers were martyred, and 35 terrorists attached to the Indian sponsored Fitna Al Khwarij network were killed in two separate intelligence-based operations performed in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa between September 10 and 13, reported the military’s media wing on Saturday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation took place in the Bajaur District after reports of the terrorist presence. “Own troops effectively engaged the location, and after an intense exchange of fire, 22 militants were killed,” the statement states.
In a separate meeting in southern Waziristan districts, 13 more terrorists were “neutralized” by security forces. The army confirmed that 12 staff “fought gallantly, paid the ultimate victim and embraced Shahadat (martyrdom).”

Weapons and ammunition were regained by the terrorists, as the military said, had been involved in several attacks in the region.
ISPR added that intelligence reports indicated the physical involvement of Afghan citizens in the latest attacks, which emphasized that “the use of Afghan Earth against Pakistan of terrorists remains a serious concern.”
“Pakistan expects the preliminary Afghan government to maintain its responsibilities and deny the use of its land for terrorist activities against Pakistan,” the statement states.
The military said that sanitization operations were underway to eliminate the remaining terrorists and promised that the armed forces were “determined to wipe out the threat of terror” and that the victims’ victims “further strengthen our decision.”
President, Prime Minister tribute to the martyr’s soldier
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari expressed grief over the loss of 12 soldiers and said their victim would not go in vain. “The blood of our martyrs strengthens the country’s decision to eradicate terrorism,” he said, calling on Kabul to “ensure that Afghan Earth is not used against Pakistan.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for removing 35 terrorists in Bajaur and South Waziristan while paid tribute to the 12 soldiers embracing martyrdom during the operations.
In a statement, the prime minister pays off the troops against, asked for the height of the ranks of martyrs and expanded compassion for their families. He said the whole nation greeted the security forces, who continued to stand as a cliff in the fight against terrorism and repeated his government’s decision to eradicate militant conditions in all its forms.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also paid tribute to the security forces for foiling terrorists’ design through “Timely and professional action.” He greeted the staff who “brought the Khawarij terrorists to their shameful end” and said that the martyrs were a testimony to Pakistan’s unwavering determination.

Main Minister Maryam Nawaz also praised the security forces for their successful operations in South Waziristan and paid tribute to the elimination of 35 terrorist as an important achievement. She paid tribute to the 12 soldiers who laid their lives and said they had “paid the price of peace with their blood.”
Governor Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Faisal Karim Kundi paid tribute to the courage of security forces. He said that the victims of the fallen soldiers would not be in vain and emphasized that the nation’s decision to defeat terrorism was “impossible.”
Sindh Minister of Chief Murad Ali Shah also paid tribute to the military’s efforts in Bajaur and South Waziristan and called the elimination of 35 terrorists a “great performance of the brave armed forces.” He paid tribute to the martyrs and confirmed that the fight against terrorism would continue until the last militant was removed.
