Islamabad:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday, the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis instructed to restore the Green Channel initiative to facilitate overseas Pakistanis and also formed an body to give special recognition to separate diaspora members contributing to national development.

At his address of the Overseas Pakistani Global Foundation Convention, he acknowledged their invaluable role as ambassadors for Pakistan across the globe.

To honor the significant contributions of Pakistan’s top taxpayers, exporters and investors, the Prime Minister announced that they would officially be recognized as ambassadors as a whole.
