PM Portal’s Response annoys the Citizens’ Action Committee

Rawalpindi:

Citizens’ Action Committee has expressed strong dissatisfaction with what it called a “non-serious” response from the Prime Minister’s Portal (PMDU) regarding its complaint.

Chairman Zahid Ahmed Awan said that government officials are routinely ignoring public complaints and does not notice the portal.

On August 31, Awan had submitted a complaint through the PM portal, demanding that the historic Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi be restored to its original status as ladies and child park instead of being used as a trash.

In his use, he said that the bad smell and pollution from the dump had a serious influence on the adjacent locations of Arya Mohalla, Liaquat Road, Moti Mahal, government offices, mosques and educational institutions.

After 25 days, however, MD for RWMC responded only with a short note and said, “We clean with limited resources and old machines, a purity of purity is also ongoing, and citizens’ cooperation is necessary.”

According to Awan, this answer was “completely irrelevant” and failed to solve the core problem. He added that it was unfortunate that government officials often responded with “relief assigned” without even reading complaints.

“If this is the condition of complaints about the prime minister’s portal, what can be expected about the daily questions from ordinary citizens?” he noticed.
