Islamabad:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the government continued to prioritize the inclusive rural development as an important pillar of national progress.
In a message on the occasion of the World Day of Rural Development Observed on July 6, he said, “in accordance with the sustainable development goals, we focus on transforming rural livelihoods through targeted investments in agriculture, education, healthcare, infrastructure and skills training.”
“We take the opportunity to recognize the priceless contributions of our rural population and confirm our commitment to their well -being and development,” he noted.
