Islamabad:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday was chairman of a review meeting on the task management system created for the privatization process for state -owned companies (SOEs) and its surveillance.

During the meeting at the Prime Minister’s office, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of collective efforts for the development of Pakistan.

“I will not allow further losses in SOEs that are wasting the valuable resources of the Pakistani people. The role of the government is not to run businesses, but to create policies and provide facilities for business and investment,” said a PM declaration that quote the prime minister.
