PM says India intensifies proxyTrorism after Marka-E-Haq defeat

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday accused India of increasing a proxy terrorism campaign inside Pakistan after his defeat in Marka-E-Haq, promising that what he called Fitna Al Hindustan would be defeated by the Pakistani nation.

Under his address to the faculty and the master’s program at the command and Staff College Quetta accused the Prime Minister India of resorting to indirect aggression after suffering a setback in recent engagements.

He referred to India’s use of force, which was met with a precise military reaction during Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, which is aimed at Indian air assets, ammunition depots and missile bases along and beyond the control line. This operation was part of the wider Marka-E-HAQ campaign carried out from May 7 to May 10.

He confirmed that Pakistan’s armed forces, supported by the full support of the nation, are prepared to meet any challenge for the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“The Pakistani Nation is united. With our faith, determination and strength, we will defeat any conspiracy that is torn by India and its clerks,” said the Prime Minister.

PM Shehbaz paid tribute to the performance of the Pakistani armed forces during the Pakistan during Bunyanum Marsoosthat calls their behavior exemplary and a source of national pride.

He praised the military’s professionalism, bravery and victims and said that their dedication had earned the highest respect for the nation.

The prime minister repeated the government’s full support for the armed forces of fulfilling their constitutional responsibility and defending Pakistan against all threats.

He also highlighted the importance of synergy among all elements of national power to tackle developing regional and internal challenges.

Earlier upon arrival at Command and Staff College, the Prime Minister was received by the Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, nine (M).

PM addresses Tribal Jirga, advocates dialogue about complaints

Prior to this, the Prime Minister participated in the tribe’s Jirga and thanked the stem’s oldest, legislators and local leaders to participate in Jirga, who aimed to tackle important challenges in the province, especially legal and order problems.

PM praised Balochistan as “the heart of Pakistan” and a province of “brave people” under his address to the historic Balochistan Grand Tribal Jirga in Quetta.

He paid tribute to Pakistan armed forces for their “bravery and professionalism” during the recent conflict with India on May 6 and 7, and said the enemy had suffered an “unforgettable defeat.” He also famous the unit of the people of Balochistan along with other provinces that stood shoulder to the shoulder with the military.

Prime Minister praised Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his leadership under what he described as a “short but dangerous war”, revenge Pakistan’s defeat in 1971.

He remembered Pakistan’s nuclear tests and said the country had responded to India’s five samples with six of his own and called it a “moment of great pride.”

The Prime Minister highlighted Balochistan’s historical loyalty and noted that its elders were among the first to accept Quaid-E-Azam’s leadership and declare accession to Pakistan. He urged complaints to be resolved through dialogue and unity.

He describes terrorists as agents of foreign enemies and promised to defeat their tactics and sought guidance to tackle any gaps in the government’s response.

He noted that Punjab had voluntarily contributed RS11 billion from his own share to Balochistan during the NFC award in 2010 and called it a “spirit of solidarity.”

PM announced that RS250 billion would be awarded Balochistan in the upcoming federal development budget on RS1 trillion, which emphasized transparent use of funds.

He said that a recent global fall in oil prices enabled an RS10 per year. Liter of gasoline and diesel reduction, saving RS1.5 billion to be used to upgrade the N-25 Highway, known as “Bloody Highway.”

Recognizing Balochistan’s enormous geography and development challenges confirmed PM the federal government’s obligation to the province’s progress and stability.
