Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned what he described as a ‘cruel and illegal’ bombing performed by Israeli forces in Doha, denoting it a serious provocation and a violation of Qatari’s sovereignty.
In a statement sent on X, the Prime Minister expressed deep indignation over the attack, which reportedly targeted a residential area and threatened civilian lives.

“On behalf of the people and Pakistan’s government, I strongly condemn the illegal and abhorrent bombing in Doha of Israeli forces targeting a residential area and bringing the lives to innocent civilians,” PM Shehbaz said.
He expanded Pakistan’s ‘deepest sympathy and solidarity’ to Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatari Royal family and the people of Qatar in what he described as a difficult time.
By calling the strike ‘totally unjustified’ the prime minister said it was ‘a brave violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Qatar’ and warned that such actions posed a serious threat to regional peace and stability.

“Pakistan stands firm with the state of Qatar as well as with the people of Palestine against Israel’s aggression,” he added.
The statement comes when Israel’s military said the carried out air striker aimed at Senior Hamas leaders in Qatari -the capital Tuesday.
Qatar said Israeli strikes targeted home to several members of Hamas’ political agency resident in the golfland, where the militant group’s senior leadership is based.
The strikes were carried out jointly by the military and Shin Bet Security Agency, the two bodies said in a statement.
Neither Israeli officials nor domestic media have confirmed whether the strikes hit their intended targets. Hamas has also not commented on the fate of his leaders.
