Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expanded Eidul Fitr -greeting to the population of Pakistan and leaders throughout the Muslim world on Monday, emphasizing the need for unity, financial resuscitation and support for oppressed communities in Kashmir and Palestine.

In his message, the Prime Minister recognized the ongoing fight against terrorism and paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces. “Officers and jaws sacrifice their lives to restore law and order,” he said.

“Eid teaches us happiness, gratitude, fraternity and empathy,” Sharif noted, calling on the nation to lead Ramazan’s spirit through patience, victims and compliance with Islamic values.

The prime minister also remembered the martyrs of the recent Jaffar Express attack and expressed solidarity with their families. He confirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support to the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine and called on the international community to act against human rights violations.

Sharif appealed to the citizens to share Eid celebrations with the underprivileged and help to build a welfare society.

Sharif expressed the appreciation of Jordan’s peace -making efforts and expanded a formal invitation to King Abdullah to visit Pakistan, which was warmly reciprocated.

The Prime Minister also held similar exchanges with the presidents of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, who emphasized Pakistan’s obligation to strengthen ties over the Muslim world.

He called the current moment a “golden opportunity” for Afghans to gather behind the country’s security forces and credited them to maintain peace since Taliban’s return to power.

The message, shared in five languages ​​on social media, avoided reference to recent attacks or the international criticism in particular by the Taliban government, especially over its limitations to personal freedoms.

Instead, Akhundzada urged support for the ministry to promote virtue and prevention of vice enforcing strict social codes.
