PM Shehbaz Greet Pakistan Navy to protect sea lines from Indian aggression

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Monday praised Pakistan Navy’s central role in protecting the sea lines for communication lines and ensuring the uninterrupted stream of maritime trade during Operation Bunyan-Emarsoos, launched against India’s unprovoked aggression.

“Our marine contingency state was exemplary … The enemy couldn’t muster the courage to try any action at sea,” said the prime minister while approaching naval officers and staff at Karachi Naval Dockyard.

Pakistan armed forces launched a large-scale military action called “Operation Bunyan-EM-Marsoos,” and targeted several Indian military targets across multiple regions.

The strikes described by officials as “precise and proportionate” were performed in response to India’s continued aggression across the control line (LOC) and within Pakistan’s territory, which New Delhi claimed was aimed at “terrorist targets”.

Pakistan lowered six Indian fighter jets, including three rafales, and dozens of drones. After at least 87 hours the war ended, provoked by India, May 10 with a ceasefire agreement broken by the United States.

According to ISPR, a total of 53 individuals, including 13 employees of the armed forces and 40 civilians, were martyrated in Indian strikes during recent military confrontation.

The military confrontation between the two countries was triggered by last month’s attack in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), leaving 26 tourists died, with India accused Pakistan of the attack without providing evidence.

According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) earlier today, Prime Minister Pakistan Navy Dockyard visited today to pay tribute to Pakistan Navy for his central role in the operation against India.

Upon arrival, the Prime Minister was received by the Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf. Chief of Army Staff (Coas) General Syed Asim Munir and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Baber Sidhu was also present.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz boarded the Type-054A class Destroyer PNS Taimur, where he was informed by Commander Pakistan fleet on Pakistan Navy’s strategic orientation, operational companies and remarkable contributions during the ongoing operation.

He interacted with officers and sailors from the Pakistani Navy and praised their exemplary professionalism, combat readiness and steadfast commitment to the national defense. He conveyed the deep appreciation of the country and confirmed unwavering confidence in the capacities of Pakistan’s armed forces.

The prime minister concerned the collection, prime prime minister praised the Pakistani fleet for his resolute attitude, operational dexterity and effective deterrent in counteracting conflicting maritime threats.

As he reminds of the proud inheritance of the Navy from crucial operations, he emphasized that Pakistan Navy remains fully capable of performing high -intensity operations similar to the historic operation Dwarka at any time and where needed.

He also said that Pakistan Navy’s use of modern technology has significantly increased its performance. “Even the enemy now admits that the Pakistani navy has moved the regional balance of power at sea,” noted Shehbaz.

The premiere also pointed out that the coordinated performance of all three-armed services-army, Air Force, and navigated it impossible for the opponent to cause real damage.

‘Trump a man with peace’

At the same address, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed gratitude to US President Donald Trump to mediate a ceasefire between Pakistan and India.

“Trump is a man of peace. Trump and his team made sincere efforts to secure peace in the region and played an important role in the ceasefire.”

“I would like to thank President Trump from the core of my heart, and I think he played a role as a well -known friend,” said Prime Minister Shehbaz.

He recalled that the US president also offered to play a sincere role in solving the Kashmir conflict between Islamabad and New Delhi.
