Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif traveled on Thursday for an official one-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he is ready to meet UA’s leadership with his delegation.
The premiere is accompanied by Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar and special assistant to PM (SAPM) Tariq Fatemi.
The visit reflects the deeply rooted fraternal bonds between Pakistan and UAE, which is characterized by mutual trust, shared values and close cooperation across several sectors, said a press release from the Foreign Office (FO).
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz will hold high-level meetings with the UAE management, including a bilateral meeting with the president of UAE and ruler over Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
A wide range of bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest and concern will be discussed during the high -level interactions.
According to FO, the Prime Minister’s visit will serve to further strengthen the long -standing brotherly relations between Pakistan and UAE, elaborate on economic ties and promote multifaceted cooperation.
It is also a manifestation of Pakistans and UAE’s common commitment to strengthen the mutually advantageous strategic partnership, improve cooperation in existing areas of mutual interest and explore new ways to further strengthen the bilateral heartfelt conditions.
Earlier this year, UAE visited Pakistan and landed in Rahim Yar Khan in January.
During a meeting, the UAE shepherd and Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed their common commitment to elaborate on economic, political and cultural ties.
They discussed a wide range of issues including economic cooperation, regional stability, climate change and promoting mutual interests on the global scene.
Sheikh Mohamed emphasized UAE’s great interest in collaborating with Pakistan in mining, minerals and agricultural sectors.
The Prime Minister extended his gratitude to Sheikh Mohamed for Uaes unwavering support in critical times, especially in humanitarian assistance and development assistance.
Both leaders confirmed their dedication to peace and progress in the region and promised to work close to issues of mutual interest.
The meeting ended with a joint decision to promote greater cooperation, especially in priority sectors, ensuring a brighter future for both nations.
