Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met Emir of Qatar, his highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on the sidelines of the Arab Summit in Doha, called after Israel’s recent strike on Qatar.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir were also present.
The Prime Minister strongly condemned Israeli attacked on September 9 at a DOHA residential area that killed and wounded civilians. He described it as an obvious violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and international law, and confirmed the full support and solidarity of Pakistan with Qatar, which highlights the historical and sustained fraternal bonds between the two nations.
PM Shehbaz emphasized that Israeli aggression in the Middle East must end up immediately and emphasize the need for unity within Ummah and raise Qatar to summon the summit. He also remembered Pakistan’s request for an emergency in the National Security Council following Qatar’s handler.
Emir thanked the Prime Minister for attending the summit and for his visit to Doha on September 12 to express solidarity.
Both leaders agreed to remain in close contact in the middle of the developing regional situation.
Arab-Islamic Summit
Leaders of Arab and Islamic States will warn that Israel’s attack on Qatar and other hostile acts threaten coexistence and regional efforts to normalize ties, according to a draft decision to be presented at an Arab-Islamic summit Monday.
The summit, called in Doha to show support to Qatar after the Israeli strike that targeted leaders of the Palestinian militant group Hamas based in the Gulf State, opened on Sunday with a meeting with foreign ministers to review the draft decision.

The joint statement from the summit called for “all states to take all sorts of legal and effective measures to prevent Israel from continuing its actions against the Palestinian people”, including “reviewing diplomatic and financial relations with it and initiating lawsuits against it”.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday, Monday’s “ruthless and provocative” attack on doha, called it an obvious violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and international law and called on immediate global act to keep Israel in charge of war crimes.
By confirming Pakistan’s long-standing attitude, he said that the only righteous and lasting solution was in the creation of an independent part of Palestine on before the 1967 limits with Al Quds Al Sharif as its capital. “Let the story record this moment when we, the leaders of the Arab Islamic world, have chosen unity, dignity and against over silence and passivity,” he concluded.
At the sidelines at the summit, Prime Minister Shehbaz also held separate meetings with the leaders of Saudi -Arabia, Egypt and Jordan, with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and planer analgesor Syed Asim Munir accompanied him.
Attack on Qatar
Hamas said six people were killed in an Israeli strike on the group’s composition in Doha on Tuesday, including its supreme dealer’s son and a Qatari security officer.
The attack on September 9, as Hamas says, killed five of his members, but spared his leadership has been pushing the American allied golf states to close the ranks and further strain bonds between Israel and the Arab world.
Qatar condemned the attack and said it had targeted housing buildings that houses the Hamas Political Bureau members.

“The state of Qatar strongly condemns the Feige Israeli attack that targeted residential buildings, which houses several members of the political agency of Hamas in Qatari capital, Doha,” spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Majed al-Ansari said in a speech on X.
US President Donald Trump has signaled misfortune over the Israeli attack and said it did not obtain Israeli or US targets and called Qatar a close ally who works hard to mediate peace.
He also said it was “a worthy goal”. After the attack, he told Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani that “such a thing will not happen again on their earth”.
