Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Monday that inflation in Pakistan will continue to fall, securing citizens in a stabilizing economy.

In a discussion with journalists, he emphasized that although significant progress was made to improve the economy, further efforts were still needed, Express News reported.

Sharif explained that when his government took over the office, the country’s financial conditions were serious, but his team has worked tirelessly to make improvements.

Despite this, he emphasized that more hard work is required to fully turn the economy and ensure that the benefits of growth reach ordinary citizens.

“Initially, the situation was incredibly challenging, but we worked to make the economy stable and eliminate cronyism’s culture,” Sharif said.

He also reflected on the impact of political disputes in the past, which he argued led to a culture of hatred and division.

According to the Prime Minister, this divide caused significant harm to the country, but he believes that national progress can only be achieved through unity and cooperation.

On a positive note, Sharif highlighted the progress made to tackle inflation.

He said, “Thank God, inflation has now fallen into single digits. The banking rate of the banking sector has improved and we can expect further reduction in inflation in the coming days.”

He recognized further contributions from his team and government officials’ hard work to achieve these results.

“All stakeholders, including officials, must continue to work extensively for the development of Pakistan,” he said. Sharif also praised the victims of the military, who continue to fight for the country’s security.

Sharif’s optimism about Pakistan’s economic future came along with his call for continued teamwork and commitment from all sectors to lead the country forward.

He concluded with a firm belief that Pakistan with collaboration could overcome his challenges and achieve long -term prosperity.
