Islamabad:
Senior PML-N leaders met on Monday in Murree to hold a long consultation on party affairs and national politics, especially the party’s strategy for the upcoming election.
According to sources, the meeting that took place at Murree’s Jhika Gali, co-chair of PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The session reviewed the overall political and economic situation in the country and discussed party cases where the participants presented their respective proposals. High-level PML-N meeting also discussed the election in detail, especially questions related to the distribution of party tickets.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Punjab Minister Maryam Nawaz were among the participants.
Other participants included Senator Pervaiz Rashid, Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Asif and Khawaja Saad Rafique.
