Former New York Giants defensive plays Micheal Barrow landed in legally hot water after a chaotic scene unfolded at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
According to several reports, Barrow was involved in a verbal disagreement with members of his family at the airport on Tuesday. At one point during the argument, Barrow’s fist allegedly got unintended contact with his wife’s facial area, Sports journalist Andy Slater reported, citing police.

Shelly, Barrow’s wife, reportedly fell to earth after she was hit.

According to prison registrations, Barrow faces three counts with domestic battery. Further details regarding the arrests were not immediately made available.

On Wednesday, Barrow entered into a non -guilty plea. The 55-year-old was released on a bond of $ 5,000, the prison register showed.
Barrow played on two national championship -winning teams during his prominent period of Miami Hurricanes. He received the Big East Defensive Player of the Year Honors in 1992.
Houston Oilers drew up Barrow in the second round in 1993.
After four seasons in Houston, Barrow joined Carolina Panthers. He appeared last in an NFL game in 2003 with Giants.
When his play days ended, Barrow turned to coaching. He spent several seasons on Miami’s coaching staff. Barrow also had an effort on Seattle Seahawk’s coaching staff.
