Police arrest two drug dealers, including Nigerian nationals, in Lahore attack

Police in Lahore have arrested two persons, including a Nigerian national, and seized illegal drugs worth millions of rupees in a crackdown on drug peddlers.

The Mustafaabad police continued their anti-drug operation and arrested the Nigerian suspect and another person. The authorities found 1,800 grams of ice and one kilogram of hashish from their possession.

According to police, the Nigerian suspect, identified as Jeff, had been residing in Pakistan for the past 16 years and had settled here, even getting married in the country.

It was revealed that he had been running an underground drug network that supplied narcotics to various places including educational institutions and farms across Lahore and other parts of Punjab.

The police further revealed that the suspect was apprehended through a combination of professional skills and public relations efforts. Lawsuits have been filed against the arrested persons and the investigation is ongoing.
