Hyderabad:
The standoffs between lawyers and the Hyderabad police, who seemed to have died after announcing SSP Farukh Ali Lanjar’s transfer, resurrected Wednesday with police threatening to leave police stations in protest.
Dozens of policemen submitted applications that sought permission to leave their charges for month -long magazines in response to the message of SSP’s removal under the pressure of the legal fraternity.
Around 1 p.m. On Wednesday, a video was shared on social media showing you Hyderabad Tariq Razzak Dhaarejo, who stood next to Karachi Bar Association’s President Amir Nawaz Waraich, who announced Lanjar’s removal. “SSP is transferred and you will visit the district line on February 6,” Waraich said, approaching the protesting lawyers in the SSP office’s premises, where the protest continued for approx. 14 hours.
The dike said on the occasion that during his visit to the bar, he will listen to the lawyers and will also try to tackle their complaint. The lawyers shouted slogans in the background when Waraich and Dhaarejo spoke. However, the development did not go well with the district police officials who felt demoralized in the hands of lawyers.
That Krangel started in response to appointing a car owned by a spokesman at PS Bhitai Nagar to use smart license plate and tinted glasses. The legal practitioners asked police to cancel FIR and release the Suzuki Mehran car with registration number BQC-508. When police refused to commit, the lawyers gathered at the SSP office on Tuesday in large numbers. The collection soon turned into a protest that lasted after Wednesday midnight.
“Given the lawyer’s illegal action at the SSP office, I am not able to perform my duty, and I also feel dismantled,” wrote Inspector Munir Abbassi, Sho Market Police Station, in his application.
“The unnecessary protest from lawyers, the use of inappropriate language against police and threats that give the police who have damaged the reputation of the police among the public,” said Inspector Muhammad Sagheer Fateh, responsible for anti-terrorismism while sought leave from work .
Earlier to the morning, an impression was made that SSP Lanjar will be forced to stop from Hyderabad during the hardness of the legal fraternity. But when the city police officers put their weight behind the district police chief, the situation changed in the afternoon.
When we talked to the media outside SSP’s Office you Dhaarejo, wearing a track suit, explained that after the terrorist attack near Karachi Airport, Sindh police decided to enforce the ban on the use of police, smart license plates and tinted glasses in private vehicles. He claimed that the ban is enforced without discrimination, as vehicles with even influential persons and police officers have been booked in four.
He said the Hyderabad police booked a car owned by a lawyer as a result, as the situation that was pitting against lawyers had evolved. He said they are trying to solve the situation.
However, the dike took a mild exception of the use of critical words, as the lawyers allegedly said against policemen who said that the way does not fit their profession. SSP Lanjar meanwhile said that more than 50 FIR’s have recently been filed in Hyderabad against such vehicles. He added that many vehicles were owned by state officers and one was owned by a police officer who was currently published in Jamshoro district.
