Buckle up, TV fans, because PoniesPeacock’s next spy thriller series is almost here.
It takes place in the 1970s with Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Haley Lu Richardson (The white lotus) as Bea and Twila, who work as secretaries for the American Embassy in Moscow. But when their husbands are killed under mysterious circumstances, Bea and Twila defy their superiors to go undercover and discover the truth. Long story short: Espionage-based hijinks ensue.
Does that sound fun to you? You want to know when it’s released and where you can watch it. Below, I’ve gathered all the key details you need to know about Ponies – so go ahead, gallop on to learn more!
What is the release date and launch time for ponies?
Ponies makes his debut on Thursday 15 January in North and South America. Viewers living on other continents will have to tune in a day later – Friday, January 16 – to watch it. According to the official Peacock blog, all eight episodes will also drop simultaneously on launch day.
As for the time of launch, it depends on the day when this new Peacock TV Original is released. Considering Ponies will be released this thursday night i predict its first chapter will air at 6pm PT / 9pm ET. It’s the same time The traitors Season 4 premiered on the Peacock last Thursday (January 8), so there’s no reason to suspect that Ponies will not do the same.
If the aforementioned release times are correct, here’s when Ponies episode 1 will be published where you live:
- US – Thursday 15 January at 6pm PT / 9pm ET
- Canada – Thursday 15 January at 6pm PT / 9pm ET
- India – Friday 16 January at 7:30 AM IST
- Australia – Friday 16 January at 13 AEDT
- New Zealand – Friday 16 January at 3pm NZDT
Where can I see ponies?
If it wasn’t clear by now, Ponies will be available to watch on Peacock, aka one of the world’s best streaming services.
Don’t worry if Peacock hasn’t launched in your country, though, as it’s coming to a number of other streaming platforms as well. Here’s where you can stream it:
- US – Peacock
- Canada – Showcase window
- India – JioHotstar
- Australia – Foxtel/Binge
- New Zealand – TVNZ+
Why can’t I see ponies in the UK?
If it wasn’t obvious by now, there is a distinct lack of information about when and where Ponies can be streamed on UK shores.
Peacock usually airs on Sky and Now TV in the UK. Considering other Peacock TV Originals including Day of the Jackal, Tedand the paper, premiere on these platforms, it’s a safe bet Ponies will do the same.
However, there are a few caveats. For one, season 2 of Twisted Metal – one of Peacock’s biggest TV hits – launched on Paramount+ in the UK. Meanwhile, another Peacock spy thriller is coming The Copenhagen test will not be released on UK shores until early 2026. It has been available to watch on NBCUniversal’s streamer since December 27, 2025.
So when will Ponies come out in the UK? At the time of release, there is no official word on when UK viewers will be able to catch it and what platform(s) it will be released on. It’s not part of Sky’s January 2026 release schedule, then Ponies will certainly not arrive at the same time as in other countries.
When I hear more about a UK release date I’ll update this section. Because now we don’t know when Ponies will fall on British shores.
