Industrial expert Lyric Mandell recently became honest about the influence Malone makes with his musical shift.
He shared everything during an interview with Fox News Digital, where he was quoted and said: “Since 2015, Post Malone has hinted at his possible dive ashore and folk when he first tweeted that he would fully embrace the genre when he turned 30 .
“Now, just under 30 years of age and true to his word, he continues to lean into personal narratives that have always defined his music, such as struggle and nostalgia as he leans into the emotional core of the country music and murderers. “
Due to this “transition does not feel forced”, partly “because it is not,” but also because “it is a logical next step rather than a trend-hunting turn that has been running for almost a decade.”
“From a media theory perspective, Post Malone’s shift reflects the changing landscape of country music, where artists like Jelly Roll and now Post Malone challenge traditional country stereotypes,” the expert also noted.
So, essentially, “the genre embraces a rawer, more diverse group of artists blurring the lines between country, rock and hip-hop. This shift creates the perfect conditions for Post Malones Crossover to feel both innovative and organic, ”Mr Mandell also concluded adding a little later.
